If your vehicle's brakes need to be serviced, you should come to a qualified repair shop; Machado's Auto Care. The best way to make sure that your brakes are functioning properly is to have us check them. Our skilled technicians can easily tell whether your brake pads are worn, or if the rotors are damaged. Routinely having your brakes checked, will help identify a problem before it becomes a failure.

Our qualified technicians will also determine the condition of your complete braking system and recommend any repairs that may be needed.

Your Brakes Can Keep You Safe!

Depending on your driving habits, brakes can last for many years, or as little as 15,000 miles, there is no set schedule. Wear on a braking system is not just limited to pads either. At the same time, the brake rotors are wearing down too. On many newer braking systems, the rotors may become too thin, acquire severe hot spots, or have runout issues that cannot be resolved through machining and may require replacement when the pads are due.  When we perform a brake inspection, all those issues are taken into account before we present our findings.

The brake fluid will need to be replaced (flushed) periodically as well. Brake fluid attracts and retains moisture. Moisture causes degradation of the brake fluid and reduces the ability of the fluid to operate at high temperatures and pressures. Moisture in the brake fluid can cause the fluid to boil, drastically reducing the ability for the hydraulic fluid to function.

Our brake repair shop in Garland, Texas uses high-quality parts that we can stand behind. We make sure your brakes are tip top shape before returning the vehicle to you. We back every repair we perform with a 24 month 24,000 mile warranty.

We also service Anti-lock Brake Systems (ABS). While the ABS system is a separate part of the service braking system, all the parts must be in working order to insure the system will function properly.
